What's new
The Worcester Park event took place on 10 August, at which between 8,000 and 10,000 passenger journeys were completed.  A gallery of photos submitted to us are being updated and expanded, index here.  Contributing photographers, please continue sending your photos here.

Our next event will celebrate 30 years since the last RFs ran in London Transport service from Kingston.  Sunday, 22 March 2009, a date for your diary.

Meanwhile, there are Other events.  Times for the feeder from Dorking to Amersham are now available.  Work on the RF routes will recommence shortly; the latest updates are 228 and 236.

Central Area RF operations
The site contains a resource on the operations of red RFs by London Transport, 1952 to 1979 - see Red RF routes.  Complete coverage will take some time.  In addition, some background notes on LT routes are provided.

Red-RF events
The Carshalton Running Day took place on 15 April 2007 in brilliant sunshine and with large numbers of local people enjoying a day out.  The Photo Gallery features the work of over 40 photographers, and has a section on the background of the 30-odd buses that took part.

In 2006, there was the Hackney Marshes Vintage Bus Event and a small RF running day in Harrow.

RF486
The site also has details of the history and recent and planned activities of our RF486.
