The winter of 2012-13 marked the 60th anniversary of all 225 of London's red RFs entering service between September 1952 and March 1953.  They were introduced on 13 routes across London, the first being the 210 from Golders Green to Finsbury Park on 11 Sep 1952. 

 

A series of commemorative workings mark the anniversary - see table for more details.  The routes in order of RF conversion were as follows:
