Worcester Park running day

Illustrated programme
Unfortunately, demand was such that we ran out of programmes
on the day (despite doubling the print run from Carshalton).
We apologise to those whom we disappointed. However, a few
spares have surfaced since the event, which we are pleased to offer
as a memento, at the reduced rate of £4 each. Please send a
cheque payable to SG Whitelegg to Worcester Park Programme, 42
Brookfields Avenue, Mitcham CR4 4BN.
The illustrated programme contains full timetables for the
services, plus details of routes and boarding points.
Please note that a programme was not required to travel on the
buses.

Chiswick was permitted to build a small number
of bus bodies during the war,
resulting in the 'austerity' group of STLs,
mounted on older chassis. This is
STL2220, built in 1942 for Harrow Weald route
230, now in May 1949 helping
out on the 127 shortly before being repainted
green and sent to Amersham.
